Thank you - RAW is easy, just get yourself Adobe Lightroom and start from there :)

There is the 'Bridge' function in photoshop which will convert RAW files but its not that good IMO

Lightroom is a photography specific RAW conversion programme by Adobe and is fantastic to use - I start by uploading my RAW files into this, and doing all my basic processing - I then save the results as JPEGS and do additional processing in Photoshop :)
